Dean of Students

Message from the Dean of Students

Welcome to the University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies. We are here to help you achieve your educational goals, navigate the complexities of the campus, serve as your advocate, and ensure you make the most of your university experience.

As part of that mission, we oversee students’ conduct and discipline and the  students’ life and leadership. This office offers you a wealth of services, special events, and leadership and growth opportunities in an environment that is respectful, inclusive, and collegial.

As Dean of Students, I encourage you to get involved on campus. Join a club. Participate in students’ government. Apply for a volunteer activity. These experiences will take your education to another level and help you make lifelong friends. They’ll also connect you with professional networks that will benefit you for years to come.

Good luck, and I wish you the best at UTB.

Student Conduct and Discipline

An important part of fulfilling the university’s mission is providing a student discipline process that promotes student accountability and social responsibility, as well as maintaining a college environment that is respectful, inclusive, and collegial that is free from intimidation, threats, coercion, or violence. (Details of these will be provided in the Students’ Handbook)

Clubs and Associations

There are several clubs and associations at UTB. These are formal organized groups of students who want to achieve a common goal. In UTB meaningful associations and clubs are allowed to function among the members of the university community such as GBU, AERG, Dancing Troop, Good governance club, Debate & English Club, Women’s club, Football team and Volleyball Team

Social Responsibilities

The university also offers that promote and inculcates social responsibility among its students. This is done by participating in off-campus activities which involves supporting the social well being of the community.
