I intend to play an active role in promotion of Tourism and Hospitality in Africa particularly Rwanda as a chef. This will be achieved through provision of healthy foods and creativity in cooking Tasty and healthy meals to the visitors and sharing skills to the young ones through Educating them. Jackline Umuganwa has experience in hotel industry to mention but few; Kigali Intercontinental Hotel as Sous chef, Kigali Serena Hotel, as Sous Chef, Dove Hotel as Executive Chef.

My journey to become a lecturer today was from the passion of my career that interested me to go for the pedagogue skills in the country of Singapore at Oriton International school of Culinary Art and Food and Beverage. This enabled me to share my knowledge and skills to others.

Jackline Umuganwa also worked in different hospitality Universities as A lecturer to mention;

 Remera Hospitality Academy (WDA), Integrated polytechnic regional college ngoma (IPRC) Eastern province of Rwanda, Muhabura Integrated Polytechnic College (MIPC) Northern Province of Rwanda, and

Vatel International University of Hotel and Tourism.

 Jackline graduated from Les Roches International University of Hotel Management with Master Degree in specialization of Marketing from Switzerland.  

Kampala International University with Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Management (KIU).

 Diploma in Food production from Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) in the country of Uganda.  

She has 9 years of Industry experience and 14years in education. Mostly in hospitality Universities.

Jackline Umuganwa still wants to learn more and more about Hospitality.
